about MUD LAB

Mud Lab was created by Sherri Gamble, a professional plaster artisan who brings her craft directly into people’s homes. With years of hands-on experience in decorative plastering and finishes, Sherri blends traditional techniques with contemporary design, transforming everyday spaces into textured works of art.

The studio extends this practice into a public-facing community environment. Mud Lab exists to share knowledge, celebrate skilled trades, and foster connection. It is a place where beginners and experienced makers alike can gather, exchange ideas, and learn through doing.

The studio’s gallery showcases reclaimed and vintage tools, honoring the history of craftsmanship while reimagining these objects as art and decor. By highlighting the tools behind the work, Mud Lab helps preserve and promote the culture of the trades for a new generation.
